  • Will play the final against Brazil or Colombia this Sunday.
  • Went into halftime trailing 1-0.

Argentina will be in the Philippines from November 21 to December 7: La Albiceleste defeated Paraguay 3-1 and became the first CONMEBOL team to qualify for the World Cup in this discipline.

Paraguay started stronger. They created better attacks, and after a corner kick from Arévalo in the fifth minute, Paola Brítez struck the ball first-time to open the scoring.

Carina Núñez controlled the ball with her back to the goal, and with a powerful left-footed shot, "Peque" Nava equalized for La Albiceleste eight minutes into the second half.

At the eleven-minute mark, D’Andrea stopped a shot from Paola Brítez with her foot, and both the goalkeeper and the Argentine bench celebrated it like a goal.

When the match was tense and filled with physical battles, Argentina’s talented No. 10 stepped up: Silvina Nava skillfully controlled the ball, dribbled past two opponents, and set up Romero to tap in a goal of immense value.

La Albirroja pushed forward with everything. Goalkeeper D’Andrea made several crucial saves, and in the closing moments, when Paraguay was playing with a flying goalkeeper, Ana Ontiveros fired a shot from behind midfield to seal the victory.

Argentina will face the winner of Brazil vs. Colombia in the final of the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal Femenina 2025™. Meanwhile, Paraguay will battle for third place and a World Cup berth against the losing team from that matchup. Both matches will take place this Sunday, the 30th.
