Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Located on the East Coast, it hosted two matches of the CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024™.

It has a capacity of 71,000 people and will host one of the semifinals of the FIFA World Cup in 2026.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium

The Mercedes-Benz Stadium was inaugurated in 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia. It is the home of the Atlanta United (MLS) and the Atlanta Falcons (NFL).

The CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™ had two matches there: it hosted the opening match on June 20, for Group A, between Argentina and Canada. The South American team won 2-0.

The other match took place on June 27, for Group C, in one of the two clashes between Concacaf teams during the group stage: Panama defeated the host, the United States, 2-1.

In 2019, the Super Bowl was held at this modern and eco-friendly stadium, the first in the United States with LEED Platinum certification, the highest recognition for sustainable construction practices. It combines a retractable roof and solar panels.

As part of the Rolling Stones' massive tour in the United States in 2024, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium had its date on June 7, just a few weeks before the CONMEBOL Copa América™.

In 2026, it will be one of the stadiums where the FIFA World Cup will be played: five matches of the group stage, one in the Round of 32, one in the Round of 16, and one in the semifinals will be played there.
